Blues Brothers Car Destruction Record

During the filming of The Blues Brothers, the production destroyed 103 cars, turning the movie into a Hollywood landmark for on-screen automotive carnage. At the time of its release, that total set a world record for the most cars wrecked in a single film. The record stood until Blues Brothers 2000 deliberately topped it by smashing 104 cars during its own production.
