Stove-Heated Lava Lamp Kills Quinn

In 2004, 24-year-old Phillip Quinn of Kent, Washington, tried to heat a lava lamp on a stove. The lamp exploded under the heat, sending glass shards flying through the room. One piece of glass pierced Quinn’s heart, and he died from the injury.
