Gaddafi Lectures 200 Italian Models

While visiting Italy for the World Food Summit in November 2009, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi hired about 200 Italian models to attend what they thought would be a glamorous party. Instead of socializing, he spent the evening lecturing them on Islam, urging them to convert and presenting his views at length. At the end of the night, he handed out copies of the Koran and his own political book.
