Stallone Rourke Twice Reject Tarantino

The only actors known to have turned down Quentin Tarantino twice are Sylvester Stallone and Mickey Rourke. Stallone passed on Robert De Niro’s role as bail bondsman Max Cherry in Jackie Brown (1997) and later on Kurt Russell’s stunt driver role in Death Proof (2007). Rourke also rejected the Death Proof part that went to Russell, as well as Bruce Willis’s boxer role in Pulp Fiction (1994).
