Chick Donohue Greatest Beer Run

In 1967, Marine Corps veteran John "Chick" Donohue decided to sneak into Vietnam while the war was still raging so he could visit friends serving in combat. He carried beer with him and moved through the war zone simply to deliver cold drinks to his buddies on the front lines. His unlikely mission into an active combat area became known as "The Greatest Beer Run Ever," remembered for the lengths he went to just to share a beer with fellow Marines in Vietnam.
