Philosopher Of Gods Cosmic Suicide

Philipp Mainländer was a German philosopher who argued that God committed suicide to create the universe, with the cosmos itself being God's corpse. In his view, the only way an infinite, timeless being could die was by shattering its own being into a time-bound universe. After developing this philosophy, Mainländer took his own life.
