Astypalaia Hosts Oldest Erotic Graffiti

On the limestone cliffs of the Greek island of Astypalaia in the Aegean Sea, archaeologists have found some of the world’s oldest erotic graffiti, carved about 2,500 years ago. One inscription declares, "Nikasitimos was here mounting Timiona," and it sits beside phallus carvings.
