The 35C Wet Bulb Limit

The 35C Wet Bulb Limit

Humans cannot regulate their body temperature when the wet-bulb reading reaches approximately 35°C due to high temperatures and humidity. At this limit sweat cannot evaporate fast enough to dump metabolic heat. Even a healthy person at rest, in the shade, with unlimited water would still overheat. Some parts of the world occasionally reach this fatal threshold during summers.
