The Jetsons' Second Life

When The Jetsons premiered on ABC in 1962, it ran for just one season with 24 episodes before being canceled due to low ratings. The futuristic family later found new life in syndication, where reruns became a Saturday morning staple. Its revived popularity led to 51 new episodes produced between 1985 and 1987, giving the series a second life more than 20 years after its debut.
