In 2014 on a Ryanair flight to London, the crew warned passengers three times not to eat nuts because 4-year-old Fae Platten had a severe allergy. A man four rows away opened a packet anyway, and within 20 minutes Fae went into anaphylactic shock, briefly stopped breathing, and was revived with an epinephrine injection before being taken to the hospital. Ryanair banned the passenger from its flights for two years.
