Woman's Unusual Smoking Cessation Plan

In 2013 at the Sacramento County Jail in California, Etta Mae Lopez waited outside and slapped Sheriff's Deputy Matt Campoy. She was promptly arrested, which was her plan all along, as she believed jail was the only way to quit smoking because tobacco is banned there. A judge sentenced her to 63 days in jail.
