Kristy Manzanares and the Cruise Killing

In July 2017, Utah resident Kristy Manzanares was found dead in her cabin aboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship while it sailed through Alaska's Inside Passage. The ship was hosting a Sherlock Holmes-themed murder mystery dinner when passengers heard screams from her room, assuming it was part of the performance. Her husband, Kenneth Manzanares, was later arrested and confessed to killing her during an argument.
