In 1996, while developing the original Tomb Raider, a design error accidentally increased Lara Croft's breast size by 150%. The glitch happened when lead designer Toby Gard mistyped a value while adjusting the character model. With the game close to release, the team decided to leave the exaggerated proportions in place, a mistake that unexpectedly became one of the character's defining traits.
