Stowaway Survives Freezing Jet Flight

In August 2000, a stowaway survived a harrowing flight inside the wheel well of an Air France jet traveling from Tahiti to Los Angeles. At 38,000 feet, he endured subzero temperatures and severely reduced oxygen levels, with his body temperature dropping to a near-fatal 79°F (26°C). His extraordinary motive was to eventually reach France to "shake hands" with his idol, soccer legend Zinedine Zidane.
