Nosferatu Survives Legal Battle

In 1922, a court ordered the destruction of all copies of the movie "Nosferatu" because Bram Stoker's widow sued over its resemblance to "Dracula," citing copyright violation. However, some copies survived, and "Nosferatu" went on to become one of the most influential horror films of all time.
