Real Snake Killed in "Friday the 13th"

In "Friday the 13th" (1980), filmmakers killed an actual snake during a scene in which it was found in a camper's cabin. The snake's handler, unaware of this plan, was extremely upset and had to be restrained by crew members after it happened.
