Takei Declines Simpsons Role

George Takei declined a role in "The Simpsons" episode "Marge vs. the Monorail" because he would rather not mock public transportation, as he served on the board of directors for the Southern California Rapid Transit District. Leonard Nimoy ultimately filled the role.
