OCD Study Reveals Mortality Risks

A study from 1973 to 2020 followed thousands of people and found that those with obsessive-compulsive disorder died, on average, nine years earlier than those without it (69 vs. 78 years). People with OCD were 230% more likely to die from unnatural causes and nearly five times more likely to die by suicide.
