Matt Damon - Saving Private Ryan

During the filming of Saving Private Ryan, producers intentionally excluded Matt Damon from the grueling boot camp training to build authentic resentment toward his character among the cast. The rest of the actors endured days of harsh military drills, physical exhaustion, and simulated combat under the supervision of retired Marines to replicate the rigors of WWII soldier life.
