James McAvoy - X-Men: First Class

James McAvoy misunderstood the timeline of his character while preparing for his role as Professor X in X-Men: First Class (2011) and shaved his head, thinking the character was already bald at that point in the series. However, since the film depicted a younger Charles Xavier before he lost his hair, McAvoy had to wear a wig throughout the shoot to match the character's intended look.
