At age 9, Jodie Foster was mauled by a lion on the set of "Napoleon and Samantha," resulting in scars on her back and stomach and a lifelong fear of cats. As the lion held her sideways in its mouth and shook her "like a doll," she witnessed the crew fleeing. However, the lion did release her when commanded.
