Slow Loris

The slow loris is the only known venomous primate, possessing toxic saliva and venom from brachial glands on its arms. When threatened, it raises its arms and licks its glandular patch before biting, mixing saliva and oil to produce a venomous solution capable of causing anaphylactic shock and death. Pet slow lorises, often kept with their teeth clipped, are unable to defend themselves properly, making handling extremely dangerous.
