Mysterious Disappearances at Sea

Disappearances in the ocean are more common than most realize. Keys, sunglasses, airplanes, submarines, entire cities, and, disturbingly, individuals have all vanished without any trace. The International Cruise Victims Association reports that at least 165 individuals have "just disappeared" at sea over the past 20 years. Before this organization existed, multiple ships vanished annually, with some cases suggesting passengers were mysteriously thrown overboard.
