Natalie Wood’s Tragic Drowning

Natalie Wood’s Tragic Drowning

A fortune-teller once warned actress Natalie Wood's mother to "beware of dark water," a fear she passed on to Natalie. This fear persisted throughout Wood's life, and tragically, she drowned in 1981 after going missing from a yacht late at night. She had been aboard with her husband, Robert Wagner, and actor Christopher Walken during the filming of Brainstorm. Her body was found about a mile from the yacht, with a small dinghy nearby. An autopsy revealed bruises on her arms and body, as well as an abrasion on her left cheek, fueling ongoing speculation about the circumstances of her death.
