Tarrare, an 18th-century Frenchman, was infamous for his insatiable appetite. He reportedly consumed live animals and scavenged food from gutters to survive. When seeking medical help for his condition, his behavior turned darker-he attempted to drink the blood of hospital patients and was suspected of consuming corpses from the morgue. Disturbingly, it is also believed that he may have eaten a toddler.
