Tulsa Race Massacre (1921)

In 1921, the affluent Black neighborhood of Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, known as "Black Wall Street," was destroyed by white residents in a violent racial attack. Over 300 African Americans were killed, and hundreds of homes and businesses were burned to the ground.
