The Oradour-sur-Glane Massacre (1944)

In 1944, the Nazi forces massacred 642 people, including 247 children, in the French village of Oradour-sur-Glane. Unlike other Nazi massacre sites that were rebuilt or turned into monuments, the charred remains of this village remain untouched to this day.
