Samurai Descendants in Spain

In the Spanish town of Coria del Rio, 700 residents are descendants of Hasekura Tsunenaga, a 17th-century samurai who settled there after a Japanese embassy returned home. These residents carry the surname "Japón," which was originally "Hasekura de Japón."
