Costa Concordia Sinking

The Costa Concordia, a Costa Crociere-operated cruise ship, struck a rock on January 13, 2012, and sank, killing 32 people. Captain Francesco Schettino, who abandoned the ship, was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 16 years in prison.
