Mild American Yellow Mustard

American yellow mustard was introduced in 1904 by George J. French under the name "cream salad mustard." It is made primarily from milder yellow mustard seeds and vinegar, resulting in a very mildly prepared mustard that obtains its bright yellow color from the inclusion of turmeric powder.
