Chimpanzee Tanga Bit Jennifer Connelly

While filming Phenomena in 1984, a chimpanzee named Tanga first scarred actress Daria Nicolodi with a blunted straight razor, then attacked Connelly (who was just 13) and bit off part of one finger. Tanga continued acting aggressively toward Connelly afterward, forcing the production to use a body double for some scenes.
