"The Simpsons" staff sent flowers, while members of the "King of the Hill" team called South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and told them they were "doing God's work." Parker said that despite the episode's controversy over depicting Muhammad, the other animators mainly thanked them for attacking "Family Guy."
