Jia Lijun's Fatal Walrus Selfie

In May 2016, businessman Jia Lijun took a selfie with a walrus at China's Xixiakou Wildlife Park. The animal then pulled him into its pool. Onlookers and staff initially mistook the attack for play, but when the walrus's longtime trainer, Duan, jumped in to help, it dragged him under too. Both men drowned.
