Cryptic Pregnancies Hide Until Childbirth

About 1 in 2,500 pregnancies go un-noticed until the baby is delivered, a rare phenomenon known as a cryptic or stealth pregnancy. Symptoms may be non-existent or misdiagnosed while weight gain and a distended belly can be mistaken for bloating. In the worst cases, the woman only finds out that she is pregnant when labor begins.
