Solomon Had Seven Hundred Wives

According to 1 Kings 11:3, ancient Israelite king Solomon had a harem containing 700 wives and 300 concubines. Solomon, the third king of Israel, reportedly reigned from around 968 to 928 BCE. His wives included Pharaoh's daughter and women of Moabite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite origin, many of whom refused to adopt Israelite culture and religion.
