Rock Stars Funded Holy Grail

Rock acts Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, Jethro Tull, and British musician Elton John helped fund the movie instead. They reportedly saw the investment less as a serious film gamble and more as "a good tax write-off."
