R2-D2 Finally Obeyed Anakin

In the original "Star Wars" trilogy, Luke Skywalker repeatedly tells R2-D2 to stay on the ship, but the droid never really obeys him. The prequel trilogy adds a sad echo when Anakin Skywalker’s final instruction to R2-D2 is also to stay on the ship. This time, R2-D2 obeys, and he never sees Anakin again before his fall into Darth Vader.
