James Earl Jones Recorded Quickly

James Earl Jones spent only 2.5 hours recording all of Darth Vader’s lines for "Star Wars." He received $7,500 for the voice work, while David Prowse performed inside the Vader costume. The short recording session still produced one of the most recognizable villain voices in film history.
