Alec Guinness Regretted Obi-Wan Role

Sir Alec Guinness disliked playing Obi-Wan Kenobi in "Star Wars" despite the money it brought him. He later wrote, "Apart from the money, I regret having embarked on the film," and called the dialogue "lamentable." When an autograph seeker told him he had seen the movie more than 100 times, Guinness signed for him only after making him promise never to watch it again.
