James Earl Jones Refused Credit

James Earl Jones chose to go uncredited for voicing Darth Vader in "Star Wars." He believed David Prowse’s physical performance inside the Vader costume defined the character more than his own voice work did. Jones stepped back from the credit, even though his voice later became one of the most famous parts of Darth Vader.
