J.K. Rowling’s Smarties Prize Streak

J.K. Rowling won the Nestle Smarties Book Prize in 1997, 1998, and 1999 for the first three Harry Potter books. The run made her the first person to win the award three years in a row. When the fourth book came along, Rowling withdrew it from contention so other children’s books could have a fair chance.
