In 2001, Mattel released a vibrating Harry Potter broomstick toy. The toy attracted a wave of questionable Amazon user reviews after buyers noticed its awkward design and built-in vibration feature. Mattel discontinued it after adult stores in Times Square reportedly began selling the broomsticks for twice their original retail price.
