Rodney Dangerfield’s Stroke Alerted Leno

On November 22, 2001, comedian Rodney Dangerfield suffered a mild stroke while doing stand-up on "The Tonight Show" on his 80th birthday. Host Jay Leno noticed something was wrong with Dangerfield’s movements and asked his producer to call paramedics. Dangerfield recovered and returned to the show a year later to perform on his 81st birthday.
