Rinko Kikuchi’s Gummi Bear Secret

During filming of the 2013 film "Pacific Rim," the demanding Jaeger cockpit harnesses physically exhausted nearly every actor except Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi, who played pilot Mako Mori. Director Guillermo del Toro asked how she handled the grueling setup so well. Kikuchi gave him a strangely calm answer: "I think of gummi bears and flowers."
