When American singer and actress Miley Cyrus allowed Disney to use the name Miley in "Hannah Montana," she later said she did not realize Disney would control the commercial use of it. Her mother, Tish Cyrus, later hired people to protect her interests, which Cyrus said helped her eventually gain control over her music.
