A neutron star’s gravity is so intense that its surface stays almost perfectly flat, with any “mountains” likely only fractions of a millimeter tall. Most neutron stars measure roughly 20 km across, yet the material is so dense that a normal-sized matchbox of it would weigh about 3 billion tons.
