The mansion used on "The Bachelor" is not some permanent ABC set, but a real house in Agoura Hills, California, where the Haraden family actually lives when filming is not happening. Twice a year, the family moves out for about 42 days, and production removes basically everything they own so the place can be rebuilt for the show. Reports say the furniture, curtains, clothes, and other belongings all go out, then ABC redecorates the house for the season before putting it back together afterward.
