Brontosaurus Won Its Name Back

For years, people were told that Brontosaurus was not a real dinosaur and that it was just Apatosaurus under the wrong name. Then in 2015, researchers argued that Brontosaurus and Apatosaurus were actually different enough to be separate dinosaurs. That brought Brontosaurus back from scientific exile and made one of the most famous dinosaur names valid again. Some paleontologists still disagree, but Brontosaurus is no longer treated as just a simple mistake.
