Game of Thrones Skipped Bean Audition

For Game of Thrones, the producers did not make actor Sean Bean audition when they wanted him to play Ned Stark. They also did not require American actor Peter Dinklage to audition for Tyrion Lannister. The production specifically sought out both actors for those roles from the start.
