David Parker Ray Escape

In 1999 in Elephant Butte, New Mexico, a woman named Cynthia Vigil escaped after serial killer David Parker Ray (Toy Box Killer) held her captive and tortured her for three days inside his trailer. When Ray left for work, Vigil found a key left behind by accomplice Cindy Hendy and unlocked the chains that restrained her. Hendy tried to stop her, but Vigil fought back and stabbed her with an ice pick, then ran from the trailer and reached a nearby home for help. Her escape alerted police and led to the arrest of David Parker Ray.
